PLEASE JOIN US AS WE CELEBRATE THE KICK OFF OF NONVIOLENCE WEEK, OCTOBER 6-12, 2013, IN THE CITY OF YOUNGSTOWN, IN MAHONING COUNTY, IN THE YOUNGSTOWN SCHOOLS AND ON THE YOUNGSTOWN STATE UNIVERSITY CAMPUS.
The parade is open to all nonprofit organizations such as youth groups, athletic teams, church groups, neighborhood watch groups as well as businesses and government officials and politicians. The parade will start on West Wood and Hazel streets in front of the new YSU business school and proceed downtown.
You can walk with us, have a car/truck, or create a float. We encourage you to have a banner to display your group’s name and a nonviolence slogan as well.
JOIN US FOR THE RALLY IN THE CITY SQUARE AFTER THE PARADE.
